Long Lace Top Empire Waist Dress for Women by Alex Evenings Review

This dress swept us off our feet! Based on our own experience, this empire gown flatters petite figures in all the right places. The intricate beadwork and delicate fabric looked luxurious and expensive. Our only concern was the length, as it may be too long for some petites. Despite this, we highly recommend this gorgeous dress for any formal event.

So disappointed with this dress. Bought for my daughter's wedding and thought it would work, but just tried it on again (wedding this Sunday) and found the material on the chest was spot on and looked absolutely ridiculous. I didn't notice it on the first try. Cannot wear and missed opportunity to return for 4 days so wasted money. I borrowed an old dress from a friend but it still looks better than Alex's dress.

I ordered navy blue and plum dresses with embroidery in a size 14 hoping to wear one of these to my daughter's wedding. Both were beautiful colors and for the price the fabric and lace were good. The tip is a bit stiff but acceptable. The plum dress has multiple sequins in the lace. I should have listened to the review above, written on December 3, 2019.
