I am 5'5" and 125 lbs and purchased the medium. It's too large for me. I kept it and ordered two more in size small. Hopefully, I can find a friend who could use this one lol. Packaged well, delivered timely, but if you are on the fence on size, go down not up.

Real boards shorts are made out of quick drying fabric and look like normal shorts. These are swimsuit material and are obviously not board shorts. I wanted something I could kyack and swim in but also wear hiking without obviously being in a swimsuit. I sent mine back.

I am 5'2 about 135lbs and got a medium swim short. They fit as expected so I was very happy with that. They are very comfortable and look good. The only down side is the tie at the waist. I had to keep pulling the tie so much to get it to cinch at the waist a little more that I had the ties hanging down to my knees. I would have to cut the ties and retie them at the ends so they don't get lost in the waistband. They are flattering and cute, but I wish the tie wasn't so strange.
