Not worth the investment

Through trial and error, I found that this car sun shade did very little to protect my dashboard and steering wheel from the harsh sunlight. The design was not user-friendly and difficult to install. The only pro was that it was made from durable material. Unfortunately, this was not enough to justify the high price tag. Save your money and invest in a more effective sun shade.

Value $$$ in interior

Overall I like it. It muffles the scorching sun and certainly reduces noise levels while still letting enough air through. The instructions state that you don't need to lower the windshield to install the front T-anchors, but loosening the 4 screws made the pull through a lot easier - the plastic tie provided isn't long enough to get a firm hold. When installing the rear curtain the bungee cords used over the soundbar were difficult to work around so I just followed the alternative suggestion…

More difficult to install than just a few minutes and the front clips are weak

Maybe the design for this for the 2018 JLU wasn't fully washed out. I do not know. But what I do know is that the installation takes more than a few minutes. And unless you have unlimited brute force, you'll need a second pair of hands to help with installation, and the bungee cords are very tight, making installation a real challenge. I'm currently only giving 3 stars because my setup was so disappointing. and it's still not fully installed. I'm just trying to convince myself to keep fighting…
