I love this hand blender

I love this hand blender. It's so powerful. However, plastic parts break again and again. The inside of the head is cheap plastic and cracks and breaks. Then you can't close it. I went through 3 of them. There is also a cheap plastic ring on the motor part that breaks within a week of use. Why use cheap plastic for such an excellent product?

What to look for when making soap!

Wow! I was on the hunt for the best hand blender after burning down three smaller soap making models. This good! Very heavy and well built. I've made about 500 oz so far and it doesn't even get hot while the soap stays on. I read a suggestion on the website to have less ruffles and waves in the shape of the blended lace and I was concerned that soap would spill all over the place, but it doesn't. We make large batches from 80 to 140 ounces at a time. It is the ideal tool for our production.

Junk and this seller has poor customer service

We've had this all-clad less than a year and it needs to be replaced. Its predecessor was the $40 Easter, which lasted over 4 years, although it was more widely used than this. The all-clad engine has become so weak that it barely revs without using the turbo button. I think this was caused by a major design flaw that could allow liquids to go up the mixer neck and into the engine bay. We literally have a cookie coming out of the gaps between some of the controls on the top of the device. Itโ€ฆ

Only does one thing, but remarkably well.

I had to eat a soft, liquid diet for 5 weeks. Instead of the usual jumble of attachments and accessories, the All-Clad only has one attachment. He does one thing and does it remarkably well. I've used it to grind wet and moist foods like thick stews and veggies. This powerful tool is great for processing crock pot foods without the need to use and clean a Vitamix blender or Cuisinart stand mixer. 5 speeds range from gentle blending to serious shaking. Grinding raw almonds resulted in a grainyโ€ฆ

Power 600W: Blender

I've been buying a 600W hand blender for a few months. I've found a few units for the European market but nothing that would work on US power. I was starting to think the only way out for me would be a regular restaurant blender, but those things are huge and expensive. Eventually I stumbled across the All Clad hand blender expecting it to be on par with other 200-400w brands. I was thrilled to discover the All-Clad is a 600W unit. Finally my search is over. I expected it to be better than theโ€ฆ

Cannot clean up, very efficient, unsatisfactory customer support.

I bought this for two jobs mixing eggs for breakfast and various soups in the winter. The odors emanating from the device after a few weeks of use are disgusting and the support hasn't been quick or particularly helpful so far. Here's the situation: We've had a cheap hand blender from cuisinart for 7 years. It was underpowered, light and noisy, but it got the job done and was easy to clean until the engine died. Around the same time, when I was looking for a replacement, I decided to replaceโ€ฆ

Stop comparing and order this

Probably the best hand blender available today. The handle is one piece so it doesn't leak like Kitchen Aid models with different attachments. It also doesn't soak up liquid over time like the Cuisinart models (where you take it apart after a few uses only to find dirt has sucked the internal rotation into the mounting area). It has plenty of performance that can be dialed up or down. Best of all, it has NO safety button or switch, so you can just use it to pulse and slide your food - with just
