I love this hand blender. It's so powerful. However, plastic parts break again and again. The inside of the head is cheap plastic and cracks and breaks. Then you can't close it. I went through 3 of them. There is also a cheap plastic ring on the motor part that breaks within a week of use. Why use cheap plastic for such an excellent product?

Wow! I was on the hunt for the best hand blender after burning down three smaller soap making models. This good! Very heavy and well built. I've made about 500 oz so far and it doesn't even get hot while the soap stays on. I read a suggestion on the website to have less ruffles and waves in the shape of the blended lace and I was concerned that soap would spill all over the place, but it doesn't.
