What we achieved, in our opinion and based on public measurements, is the best transport at any price point (yes, even when compared with 5k USD/EUR transports). The Allo DigiOne Player is a digital player with network support. It is therefore able to play your audio files from a remote source. This source can be a hard drive within the network or even an online streaming service.

BEST RPI streamer on the market for the little money

It's amazing how the sound can improve when you upgrade your RPI with ALLO Hat. A noticeable improvement in everything, but especially in high and mid frequencies. Many thanks to the guys at IOT Electronics for the great service and attention to detail.

No wonder no one makes music vehicle components.

.with one of these and a Pi, you'll have top-notch music transport. I use Volumio which actually recognizes that I have two such devices at home and I can use my old phone as a remote control. Allo is the key to a great player. When they became unavailable, possibly due to Covid, I have used another high end brand with equally good results. Check it out elsewhere on Revain.

Amazing as advertised

Amazing sound as advertised! The Raspberry Pi is getting a little fried right now as I had to remove the top of my case with the built in fan. Looking for a case that fits both RPi 4 and Allo Digi One HAT with side fan. Anyway great product

Excellent sound quality

Very easy to install on rpi 3b+ and I set it up as a roon endpoint. The sound quality easily surpasses my Bluesound Node 2 which is now being sold on eBay. I highly recommend DigiOne.

the sound is quite good for its price

This item is very good for what it offers. You need to buy a Raspberry Pi 3B+ (not 4B), a linear power supply for Raspberry and a micro SD card in addition to this HAT board. Total cost for this project is about $260 including all items. Now for the sound: DigiOne + LPSU is actually very good. It's actually better than the Blue Sound Node 2i, which is twice the price on Revain. DigiOne + LPSU is about 90% MicroRendu (not the Ultra version).
