I found out what the codes mean: According to the instructions: b01 - sealed lead acid. b02 is a gel cell and b03 is a flooded or open type (an old car battery where you keep an eye on the liquid level in the cells). that if you have a similar controller, the codes will be transmitted. This charger works great. I use it to charge a garden tractor battery and power cooling fans in beehives. I power 4 fans 24/7 with a 20w solar panel. The only thing I'd like to see is a sunrise-to-dusk mode so I can program the unit to turn off the load at night during spring and fall when nights get chilly here in Louisiana. I am currently using a 12vdc relay to achieve this function by connecting the relay to the load and the fan going to the battery using the 2 amp fuse on the fans.
