This tester is a waste of money. I had false readings on bulbs that I knew were useless! Just inches from any lightbulb and the test light was blinking and beeping! After removing 3 cartridges, the built-in cartridge remover broke. This item is overpriced for what you get.

This is likely to be a useful tool for anyone dealing with electrical work at home. It is normal if the instrument's sensitivity is high, the built-in buzzer beeps briefly and the LED flashes briefly when you simply turn the function switch to the ON/FUSE TEST position.

Can't tell how accurate it is as an electric pinpointer but I checked the Christmas lights to perfection. I immediately forgot to turn it off, so now I need to find new watch batteries to use again. It would be nice if it used AAA or AA batteries, but no such luck. I'm not sure if I'm lazy and just never use it again. the time will show!

My lightbulb puller broke after 5 minutes. Squeaks for everything. I lowered the sensitivity and some beeped, others didn't. So I used a puller (before it broke) and checked the lightbulbs on the side. They all worked. He never found a bad lightbulb. I could pull each one out and test a known good bulb faster and with more accurate results. Send back.

I tried removing the lightbulb and the first thing is that it doesn't even fit around the base of the lightbulb (it's too small) . Second, I was able to wiggle it a bit to get a little grip on the bulb, and the slider knob for holding the bulb puller is too hard to hold (it doesn't snap, you have to hold that with your thumb). interesting stuff. The concept is great, but the sensibility really needs to be dialed in. I tried it in two threads with different results. I think there are many ways to improve this, e.g. B. inserting a AAA battery, when these button cells are empty, they end up in the garbage. God forbid I accidentally leave it on.
