Quality kit - look out for the 3-jaw puller on some applications

This kit was purchased to tighten the harmonic balancer on a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee substitute. (from 4.0L) with the specific purpose of using a 3-jaw puller so as not to remove the radiator. It doesn't work on this particular balancer (not because of the gap, but because the jaws aren't aligned with the arms of the balancer's inner ring). Not suitable for installing LS pulleys.

I'm having a hard time deciding how many stars to give this article. I bought it because it looked like a very complete kit for almost every engine I could find. Well my main focus was on LS motors and as it turns out the installation tool won't work unless they make a longer adapter for the LS crank. Also, the stitching of the kit looks pretty good. Eventually I went stealing to get an LS7 bolt to adjust the main pulley about an inch and then pulled it out and switched to the original bolt to…

Only does half the job on a 1996-2000 Chrysler 3.3L

is used in their 3rd generation Caravan/Voyager minivans to remove the harmonic balancer. However, this is NOT USEFUL for setting up a harmonic balancer. There is no M10 x 1.50 adapter for the designated crankshaft threaded hole and the jackscrew diameter is too large (7/8") to fit through the Harmonic Balancer center hole.
