Overpriced and underwhelming docking station

The ALOGIC Thunderbolt Portable Docking Station leaves much to be desired. While the design is sleek and portable, its performance falls short. Connection issues and slow transfer rates make it frustrating to use with computers that demand high-speed data transfer .The high price point for this low-quality product makes it not worth the investment..

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Connection issues, slow transfer rates

Problems reconnecting devices.

For some reason devices are only shown if they are docked before being docked to the laptop. If I remove the mouse receiver or memory card after connecting the dock, they are not recognized when reconnected. I need to unplug the dock from the laptop's TB port and then plug it back in. This happened to me at Belkin too. Now I'm not sure if it is Windows issue, Driver issue, TB issue, Dock issue or DELL issue. Returned Belkin, I think it will be necessary to return this one. I blame DELL, I think
