Perfect for rock hunting

The light worked great hunting for yooperlites! It was bright enough to find rocks easily without lighting up the whole beach.

Pros
  • True uv light works great
Cons
  • The flashlight's rechargeable battery may lose efficiency over time

Nail Lamp too on my review.

I bought to go rock hunting up north & worked perfectly.Hidden Surprise - I was also able to use it cure my L.E.D nail gels & polishes. I tried it when my lamp broke. I wasn't expecting it to work but it did.The picture, is my nails after 2wks. It cured well

Pros
  • ‎3 watts
Cons
  • The flashlight's USB charging cable may be prone to tangling or breaking

Stopped charging after one week.

Worked great until the green "fully charged” light never turned off and the flashlight would no longer charge. That's my review.

Pros
  • I do nails and it is absolutely perfect for a quick cure of a base coat.
Cons
  • The flashlight's beam may not be strong enough to adequately illuminate larger areas

Quit working after two months, but replaced

The light was great until it suddenly quit working after 2 months! Update -seller promptly replaced it with a new one. ‎5.55 x 2.8 x 1.06 inches.

Pros
  • ‎5.55 x 2.8 x 1.06 inches
Cons
  • The flashlight's aluminum case may not be durable enough to protect the device from damage

Not a real 365nm light, just a cheaper 395nm with a filter

I was excited when I first turned the Alonefire on. The beam was nicely dark, without the residual greenish white of my 365nm Darkbeam S68 (single AA, ugly "tactical" styling with lots of fins and stuff, and you can focus it to different beam widths), but when played across a nearby display of Vaseline (uranium) glass, the output is obviously much higher than the Darkbeam. That was with the Darkbeam at its tightest focus, maybe half the beamwidth of the Alonefire. I widened the Darkbeam to…

Pros
  • Built-in rechargeable battery, support USB rechargeable, it's easy and convenient to charge the flashlight from computer, power bank, power adapter, and car
Cons
  • The flashlight's lack of additional features, such as a zoom lens, may limit its versatility

Best for pet urine best in my review

Most UV "pet stain" lights use a 395 nm wavelength LED bulb, but this one uses a 365 nm source, and the difference is striking. This miniature flashlight makes stains glow even when some room lighting is still present. It is very effective. The rechargeable battery is also a convenience, especially since regular batteries corrode after a year or two and destroy the flashlight they're in. This one doesn'y have that problem. Plus no waste batteries to deal with.

Pros
  • Its avery good uv light it cures your nails pretty fast
Cons
  • The flashlight's price may be more than some consumers are willing to pay for a relatively simple product

Fire hazard! for my opinion

Warning sheet indicates as the 1st rule to remove the insulating film on the "battery surface transparent before use". I carefully unscrewed the cap and removed the film off the battery. Screwed cap back on, turned on light and smelled burning, light didn't work. Unscrewed it, noticed the insulation had burnt off the wiring.Turns out the rechargeable battery is pretty hazardous and could have caught fire or even exploded.Awful to include warning to take off the film from the battery. For safety

Pros
  • ‎Battery Powered
Cons
  • The flashlight's low power may require the user to hold it very close to the target area, which may be inconvenient or uncomfortable

Packs a punch good for me

Bought these to replace some that i was not a fan of. When they arrived i was worried because they were quite small. They are brighter than ones 3 x their size. Also they are rechargable.

Pros
  • This is hands down the best UV black light for your price it’s amazing!
Cons
  • The flashlight's battery life is relatively short, making it less practical for prolonged use

Impressive. Compact focused beam.

Well worth the money.Puts out almost no visible light. With rooms in complete darkness, easily found old pet urine stains. Also found places where mold was starting to grow on damp basement walls that was invisible in bright white light.

Pros
  • ‎Alonefire
Cons
  • The flashlight's narrow spectrum may limit its usefulness in some settings
