This rain suit was a great purchase. I prefer the beach, but my husband has planned a fishing trip in Seward, Alaska. haha After hearing that it's cold and rainy I read the reviews on this suit and tried it. Was certainly not disappointed. The weather was cold and yes, VERY rainy. Knowing we would be spending 10+ hours on the boat, I put on multiple layers (yoga pants and a sweatshirt). Very well made, I was warm and dry, the Velcro fasteners are very tight and don't let moisture through.

Just got back from a 3 day 700 mile tour with about 60 riders. The first day was in pouring rain and I felt dry and comfortable in the suit compared to some other riders who had problems with the suit. Didn't appreciate the heat resistance feature because I only ridden in the 60's. It kept me warm then, but when I wore it in the mid 70's the suit was too warm. Overall it seems to have good wear resistance and will definitely keep you dry so I would definitely recommend it.

Large fits my wife and I 5ft 7" x 5ft 10ft and is an average weight. I'm sure we will, we could wear a winter coat underneath. A couple of nights ago we were caught in a downpour while wearing thin jackets that fit easily under our suits. The front of my shirt got wet, but otherwise I stayed dry—we were on our Softail, and the windshield was still blowing pretty hard at the driver. She stayed pretty dry. This raincoat was finally used last weekend. Jacket and zippers are great. No slouching and the velcro along the entire zip really keeps you dry. The pants worked well except the stirrups could have been a bit longer to go under the boot. I bought size XL and wore it over my regular jacket and pants. At 6ft 190lbs the pants were very tight vertically. It was enough that it was difficult to fully straighten the leg for support. I just cut off the stirrup and replace it with another inch or two…

This suit insulates well and will keep you warm. You should expect that, especially if it's a really hot day. I bought this product as a backup as I don't ride in the rain. But as you know, sometimes rain can surprise you. I ride the Road King classic with the intention of doing a four day trip. So I was really excited today because I was wearing this suit as I left work waiting for the rain. It was very, very bright until I was about 10 minutes from home and then it started raining and it really stopped after a while. This item fits great and has velcro and all the right places to make for a fairly smooth fit. And it actually offers very good value for the money.
