but of course it was perfect for it

I bought this pump for my mostly custom Alphacool cycle both my GPU and CPU. The only things that weren't from Alphacool were the CPU block, which was an EK Supremacy Evo for Intel X99 sockets, and my tank/pump, both of which were from Aquacomputer. My Aquacomputer Aqualis tank has a fountain effect that requires the pump to be connected directly to the top of the pump and the tank. I wasn't sure if it would fit because it was a different brand but of course it was perfect for it. Very happy…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I will add later

super quiet. to Fans & Cooling

Most of the time I can't even hear it due to the almost silent PWM operation. The fans are generally louder than the pump in my case, except on the quietest settings.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Useless Features

Works like a charm on fans and cooling

Motor on with expected 50% speed with no PWM control during closed loop test. With the PWM pin connected, the revolutions in the while range could be run through without any problems. Has worked perfectly.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Neutral

Basically useless.

Sucks. I'm pretty sure I have a floor unit, I'm pretty new to water cooling but I've had all sorts of over temperature issues. I figured it might be because my loop wasn't fully deflated, so I spent several hours tilting and rotating my computer to bleed every last drop of air. It helped my pace a bit, they were safe but a bit high. Not wanting to completely disassemble my loop, I left it and decided to see how things went. A few months later I had time to deflate and disassemble my loop and…

  • Positive only
Cons
  • Will do

it makes an awful noise

It was amazing for the first few weeks, almost completely silent even at full speed. I've had to deflate and refill my loop and now it makes this horrible piercing squeak with an unbearable scratching noise that accompanies it. I'm sure that probably won't happen to everyone, but it still sucks.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Love Alphacool in general, hate this pump.

Got this as a Christmas present for a build I'm working on. Finally I opened the box and decided to give it a try by installing a mini water circuit and it was DOA. Unfortunately, since it hasn't been returned by a long way, I have no choice but to order a new pump. Too bad I didn't get the parts back when I received them so I could test them then.

Pros
  • Fan connector: 4-pin. Color of product: black.
Cons
  • Style 90

but of course it was perfect for him

I bought this pump for my Alphacool main circuit for both my GPU and CPU. Mediocre and mediocre.

D5 PWM pump with readable PWM control board. Does not work properly with the Aquaero controller. At less than 50% of max speed, the controller saw 2000 RPM as max speed. This made it difficult to fill the circuit with liquid. The Swiftech and EK PWM pumps worked great on the same controller. Works great on the motherboard header, but it doesn't help if you try to fill the loop and blow air. Two of these are used in series in a circuit. The intention was to drive them separately to even out the…
