Ultimate Protection: Alpine Swiss RFID Blocking Leather Wallet with Ample Space Review

I got this as a father's day gift for my husband, I saw in the shop when he took out his wallet that it was definitely time to get a new one to get . I love the style of the wallet, it has plenty of room for cards and ID. The only downside was that it's slightly smaller than most wallets of this style, around 15-20% smaller. There was a smaller RFID wallet from this manufacturer, but it was cumbersome, with little space and a bulky money clip instead of a bill compartment. When the money clip broke I bought this and it does everything I need from a wallet whilst still taking up modest pocket space and keeping my credit cards etc safe. Good size well made no complaints here. At first it looked like cheap leather to me, but with some use it came off nicely and developed a nice leathery patina, if that makes sense. Also the RFID blocking seems to be completed. I have an RFID password for my office and wanted to test if it actually works. I really liked this wallet at first, but after only a few months of use the leather part on top of the card slot started to loosen a bit. Additionally, the material lining the card slot is a soft fabric that doesn't hold its shape well, resulting in cards not being attached very securely. I think the slots can also have a big difference in height, it can be difficult to get a card out of the back slot without sticking your whole finger between the pocket to grab it.

While I'll leave the wallet, if you have enough card-sized stuff for many compartments and more than half a dozen bills, the wallet just won't stay closed. I don't know why, but this isn't the first folding bag manufacturer I've come across that doesn't provide enough outer shell material to accommodate the insides when you actually use them.
