Poor quality of accessories

I rarely post on Revain. I bought them when they were on sale for $10 and figured leather gloves under 10 should be fine. Don't waste your money, it's not worth $10. The second time I put them on, the strap broke when I tried to undo the velcro to put the glove on. So I had to cut both ribbons to fit. Then I see that the palm seems to be cracked after the second wear. Not impressed. I was trying to replace a pair of gloves I bought from a Chinese silk market 3 years ago that were finally…

There is still time to do better.

I promise myself I'll never buy a cheap pair of gloves again! Buying cheap gloves works if you lose them all the time like we all seem to be, but a pair of good, quality gloves is one of those things we really should be able to afford before we go down the drain. In the meantime, I want to publicly apologize to my fingers for doing this to them. You have endured a lot and deserve more than that. I'm sorry guys Next year it's Jos. A bench!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

I would avoid Cold weather gloves

Some problems. 1. Thermal insert does not rub fingers. Well, partially, sometimes on some fingers. 2. The skin is thin and of poor quality. I tore the skin trying to put on a glove. Right at the base of the palm. 3. Velcro straps are of poor quality. Each glove is a different length and the Velcro is sewn on inconsistently. 4. The size is slightly larger than expected. They are well suited as driving gloves in spring or autumn. They are useless for anything else as they are not stylish enough…

These things are less durable than latex gloves!

These gloves, or at least the pair I received, were absolute rubbish. I wore them for 3 days with no problems. Then, on day 4, the sutures began to separate. I didn't do them when I was doing something strenuous like shoveling snow or something; I only wear them to work and shopping. On day five I felt like the Incredible Hulk; Gloves began to scatter in many places. I mean they're only $10 so I wasn't expecting better quality. But 5 days and they're mostly in pieces? That's ridiculous. To top…

Very nice for the price

Dispatched quickly and arrived well packaged. The gloves themselves seem to compare well with the big department stores and these gloves have lasted me several winter seasons. So I hope they last as long. The construction looks and feels solid, and the strap is a nice plus. I've only had them for a week and they keep my hands warm in sub-zero temperatures. The only downside is that the length can be slightly longer at the back (towards the wrists) to cover the bare area between the end of the…

Poorly made, even in this price range.

Poor stitching and insulation. These are clearly what you pay for, but I only used them to keep my hands warm during my short commute or while running errands. They lasted about a week and a half before I ripped off a finger in my left glove from over tightening them. If the stitching were stronger they would be good for light to moderate cold weather and short term wear. However, despite the low price, I cannot recommend this product.

Get what you pay for

Okay gloves. There's a reason they're so cheap (they were $12.99 at the time of my purchase. They were $9.99 at the time of this review). They are not designed for prolonged wear in cold weather. They won't keep your hands warm, but if you only go outside for a few minutes, they'll do. The problem is that they are not very well made. I ordered the XL which fits my hands well but after about two weeks one of the gloves had a noticeable tear. This was after wearing them twice a day, 3-5 days a…

For some reason I have unrealistically large palms. I can't normally wear gloves so I was so glad to find 2XL gloves - they usually fit. As expected, these gloves ended up fitting, although they were quite tight. I was ok with this and everything seemed fine until I squeezed my hand and tore the skin on my wrist. Keep in mind that "genuine leather" is the lowest grade of leather, and since it contains no grain and is heavily finished, it has very little strength. The skin looked as thin as an…
