Just be quiet, the brackets are carefully polished to give them a shinier under the hood. They are finished aluminum, not polished at all.

Need another alternator belt but can't beat how strong it is. The only complaint is that one of the screws is very close to the belt. I didn't have any interference, but I shortened the screw by a few millimeters, just in case.

The ad says it is 551672X but what I received is 551672 and it is completely different and does not include all the parts shown in the photos in the ad will. Now I have the problem of sending it back for a replacement and waiting a few more days for my car to be repaired.

This mount fits like a glove. Very strong, easy to put on and only takes a few minutes if you have a smokeless pump motor. The alternator will delete the stock fuel pump as well as the stock parts, and you'll need a slightly smaller belt. I've had it on two cars for two years now, any part of them hasn't rusted or warped. I have to say I wasn't sure what to expect from this set as it was a lot cheaper than other sets that had less. However, when I received the alt kit from ICT, all I could say was WOW, and even more so when it was installed. Installation was easy and greatly changed the look of the engine. This simple bracket solves our problems installing an alternator with double eyelets with no holes for additional bolts. It has no hesitation. This way you have to rotate the alternator 180 degrees so the adjustment screw is on the bottom instead of the top when looking at the engine. This isn't a problem, but alternator rocking can put your wiring in a tight position. If it was previously set at 3 o'clock you may need to change the position to 9 o'clock to bring the wiring back up if you don't
