Great shoes, very comfortable

This shoe has plenty of room for toes. Don't expect excessive sole thickness, they are very thin. You will definitely feel the rocky terrain. However, they are very light and fit perfectly. I found a great pair of trail runners.

Pros
  • Sole: MaxTrac
Cons
  • Some nuances

The wide fit is great! Best in Trail Running

I have bought many different Altra shoes and these are by far the best. The roomy fit is perfect for my duck feet and this feature is long overdue. Altra hit the nail on the head with the Lone Peak Wide Shoe. By the way, the seller did a great job exchanging a larger size for a smaller one. The roomy fit reduces the size by 1/2.

Pros
  • Midsole: Altra EGO
Cons
  • Fairly Good

Good fit, good shoes, good recommendation

I used Altra Lone Peaks (2 and 3). I've always liked her. They feel lighter but don't discharge as aggressively as older models. No problem unless I am planning water crossings. Nevertheless, they dry quickly. I've ridden them about 100 miles and they hold up well on rock and sand.

Pros
  • Rubber sole
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
