Great for our water carrier and when we run fire hydrants. I used to have the exact same thing but got run over and crushed by a Mack truck. The only problem I've ever had was a clump of dirt clogging the end of the hose from the inside, but a quick trip to the car wash and all was fine.

Ideal for watering the garden! Not really. using my Harbor Freight 2" gas pump and creek water. I can wash the entire roof of our house with an 80 ft jet of water. Great for distance fire safety. Now I need FR clothing to protect me from the embers!

I have used these to spray new grass seed at many spots on our 15 acres of well water. I bought a 550 gallon plastic tank, 150 gpm pump, 2 inch suction hose and 2 inch drain hose. I then used this coupler with a fire nozzle to get well water up to 50 feet from the tank. Very easy to use, you can use a powerful fine spray or powerful jet of water to reach remote areas. The nozzle is switched off in both directions.
