This is amazing stuff!

My new M.2 NVMe drive was getting hot for my comfort so I decided to send this mini BEAST and damn it works. I've watched my temperature drop from the usual 52C under load to just 43C under load, which is almost 78% better than his regular hot melt stickers. I can't wait to see what it will do when I finally get my new Airflow ATX tower. I HIGHLY recommend it if you have M.2 overheating issues or just want to protect your computer.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Bad experience

Very happy with these sets.

They work great on desktop PCs. I have about 10 Dell Optiplex SFF machines installed. Excellent thermal performance and no fan issues. This is my choice for NVMe updates on desktops. Obviously they have no use in a laptop. (FYI) For laptops I only use thermal pads like the ones included in this kit to keep the heat from the NVMe to the motherboard.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Samsung Evo 970+ Temperatures dropped 15 degrees

A few words aside for those who made the m.2 mounting screws, this heatsink was very easy to assemble. My drive booted at over 51 degrees Celsius, once the heatsink was up I started at 36 degrees.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Approximately

Nice hat, but the fan doesn't last.

Excellent heatsink for SSD NVME, but after half a year the fan died. The fan on the SSD heatsink was great, but not for long. The temperature is low when the fan is running.

  • Done
Cons
  • No instructions

The fan does not spin: Internal components

The fan does not spin. Tried the included SATA power supply, it didn't work, so I removed the SATA power supply and plugged it into the PWM connector, still nothing. Unless the fan contains some fancy software that only kicks in at a certain temperature, which I doubt, I'll retract my claim. but so far it's just a glorified cooler. but to be honest I don't think the fan will improve much. Basically I just bought it because it looks cool and it is, I'll give it to him.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Long term update: mismatched fan

After 6 months of use, the small fan is just for show. It has no appreciable cooling function for a general heatsink. Also, the fan stopped working recently. I bought three of these products and all of them did not meet my expectations. A clear non-recommendation.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Works perfectly! good for computer components

This cooler is just what I needed for my very hot Samsung 970 Evo Plus. That lowers the temperature by about 10 degrees Celsius, which is good. Much better than the passive (fanless) heatsink I used before.

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Works well! - Internal components

Works very well on my PC. Installation was straightforward and easy. My M.2 drive reached 63°C during the performance test. With this radiator, the temperature dropped to 45 degrees! 33 degrees idle. I am very happy with the purchase. However, I only give 3 stars because I received an open package. I sent a request to the seller but received no response at all! Luckily, Revain's product photos led me to believe I had received everything, so I proceeded with the installation and was glad I…

. Unfortunately they are installed in a PCIe slot next to my graphics card. I noticed that the temperature of the SSD measured by the Samsung Magician app went up to 72 degrees C after I ran the Samsung Magician benchmark. My Samsung m2 960 PRO SSD, installed 2 slots away from the graphics card, stayed below 47 degrees Celsius after the test. So excessive heat from the graphics card (which was idle at the time) caused higher temperatures on the first SSD in the "hot" slot. I installed an M.2…
