i think it works Best in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

Works perfectly. I have this in a Makita router with a 3/8 nozzle that is flush with the pilot plate. Pulled out once during use. Would have preferred Makita's factory 3/8 collet, but they don't make it (DeWalt does for their routers).

Pros
  • Overall Length (L): 1-3/16
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

The bush depicted on Revain is not the bush you actually purchase. The Amana reducer bushing is not as rough as shown here, but is carefully polished and manufactured to more stringent specifications. If you would like to see a picture of the actual item you are purchasing here, Google Amana RB-122 and find it on another site.

Smaller ID collet, no internal dimension but 2 different 3/8 end mills will fit snugly in the hole. I measured the end mills with micrometers and both read 0.3747-0.3748. The outer diameter of the collet was measured without the end mill inserted and found to be 0.5005. The collet could be inserted into a 1/2 inch diameter hole, but the entrance was clearly narrow. This was without an end mill in the collet. For a collet company, 0.0005 is a mile. I have been in the manufacturing industry for…
