We use them to clean corners on HDF cabinet doors and the cut quality is terrible. Bought 4 and finally found time to use one. All 4 went in the trash. I used a couple of their 3/8 bits and they cut great.
I cut 1/4" Baltic birch plywood with $5 Chinese compression drill bits with no problems. Thought I'd give this beat a try. Tried to do the same with this beat ( bought twice) and it broke after cutting only 4. I'm just sticking with the $5.00 beats as I don't want to pay $36.00 for another disaster and wrecked work.
I have to say I buy from AmaΓ±a all the time but this bit is rubbish, I've tried 2 bits and both are on a small knot broken on the first cut! Not recommended on knotty pine! I'm sticking to the company's recommended speed and feed! I want the company to contact me!
I cut 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood with $5 Chinese compression bits with no problems. I decided to try this. I've tried to do the same work with this beat (bought twice) but it broke after only cutting 4 pieces I will only use the $5 bits as I don't want to pay another $36 Disaster and ruined work.
I bought one of these bits about a month ago and really liked it. Worked great and lasted a long time. When it broke I decided to buy 2 of these so I have a backup. When I first used one of the attachments, it broke 10 minutes after cutting on my CNC machine on slow settings. I hope it was an accident and not the norm. Time will tell, the second beat has been ordered.
