Subpar Router Bit for Industrial Use

Based on my observations, this router bit did not meet my expectations for industrial and scientific use. While the price point was decent, the carbide tip wore down quickly, leading to less precision in my cuts. On the plus side, it did manage to get the job done for smaller projects. Overall, I would advise against investing in this particular brand of router bit for larger or more complex cutting jobs.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to the carbide material.
Cons
  • Requires a specific type of saw or tool to use effectively.

Precise and inexpensive.

Some zero point tools are far from zero (and of course many V-bits are intentionally flat for specific purposes). Zeros are hard to come by at low prices and this Amana bit is accurate and true zero.

Pros
  • Overall length (L) 2-1/4
Cons
  • Available in black only

Not the sharpest weapon in my arsenal.

This bit has an offset cut that cuts cover vinyl for CNC engraving. The pitch is slightly offset, leading to engraving distortion as the depth to width ratio does not match the programmed one. The bit worked much better than this new bit.

Pros
  • Diameter (D) 1/2
Cons
  • Drill Pack
