After I put it to the test, I am impressed with this router bit. The cuts were smooth and precise. The carbide tip held up well, even after multiple uses, making it cost-effective. The only downside was the high cost compared to other options. Overall, this is a high-quality tool that is well worth the investment for those who need precision cutting.
Pros
Durable and long-lasting due to carbide tipped design.
Cons
Some users report difficulty with changing out the router bits.
Exceptional drill but leaves a very small and visible burr at the bottom of the cut even at 40% pitch which I wasn't expecting. I bought this bit to use on my CNC for making wine bottle coasters.
If you require the specified 1/2 inch cutting length/depth, this can be any. I received at least 1/2" bits, but both bits on my last order were 0.050" shorter. BTW the same thing happened with the Freud equivalent so now I'm not sure who to trust. It's hard to imagine their spec having a tolerance of ±0.050" but who knows these days. I'll try to find something that's made in the USA. These Amana are Hecho en Taiwan. I'm not on Freud's sure.Anyway they come back for a refund.
