Won't "lock up " a wheel unless it's on a nut

I've never seen a tool like this before ordering. I just saw a video on YouTube about this key. My guess was wrong: it won't "LOCK" the wheel unless it's already on the nut or bolt head. Use the wrench as usual in the open position, tighten the wheel, then tighten with the handle and the mechanism will press the tab or nut. It snaps into place and makes it easier to turn since you don't have to worry about it slipping off. You must then UNLOCK the handle to remove the wrench. I suspected it…

Surprisingly good locking wrench

This wrench is very easy to use. Just turn the screw like any other adjustable wrench, then squeeze to lock it in place. It helps a little to keep things from rounding out, but I've mostly used this by holding the nut on the other side of the bolt and hitting it with a couple of taps or with an appropriately sized wrench. There seems to be a bit of junk in the pines, which isn't too bad. When I actually tightened the fasteners, the adjustment screw was binding a bit. Pros: - Closes just like a…

High quality and durable non-slip grip

For the most part this tool is amazing. Best of both worlds (vise and adjustable wrench) is very easy to use. Release the pressure, adjust the wrench by hand, and then tighten it. Your nuts or bolts (or other trapped objects) will be held securely in place (whether upside down or at any angle). This has many unique uses other than just tightening nuts and bolts (it can clamp thin objects together when gluing/fastening, helping screw hooks into a wall, etc.). Very little of the grip extends…

Well done and working.

This is not a branded key nor does it look like it but for the price it is well made and works with the nuts and bolts I have tested it on. That's a great idea! I try to avoid using adjustable wrenches, but there are times when you need to use one, and they're notorious for rounding off screw heads if you need to over-tighten them. ViseGrip does not round the corners of the screws, but jaws can be damaged if pinched. This wrench can be adjusted to the size of the screw head and then clamped and

Looks very well made, accurate, easy to adjust, lock and remove

I have many adjustable wrenches of all sizes hanging from my tool bars but this is my first Revain Basics and my first locking wrench. I have to say I'm very impressed with it. The screw turns really easily (at least when new) and leaves little to no play on the teeth to move the jaw. I really like that this jaw has precise measurements, a scale of 1.25 inches on one side and 35 cm on the other, and an arrow showing the current position. It is very thin and easy to attach and just as easy to…

Initially I wasn't impressed with this tool but now I am.

Adjustable wrenches have the advantage that you don't need to know what size you need, but this comes with a trade-off; You have to keep refining it so that it hits the golden mean. The pinching action on this unique device doesn't move the face too much, so you need to get it very close before pinching it. Then it dawned on me; At the end of the jaws are measurement markings in both the SAE standard and the metric system. So if you know you have a half-inch stud, you can dial it in just a…
