Amazon Brand - Presto! Flex-a-Size Paper Towels, Jumbo Roll, 12 Count (Equivalent to 30 Regular Rolls) Review

I wanted to try it because many reviewers compared it with Bounty, which I think is the best for the kitchen. Prestos are great and if I hadn't seen the label I would have thought it was Bounty. Great paper towels at a bargain price!

Overall these paper towels are comparable to competing brands. I have never left a review but was forced to leave a review as this is a quality assurance issue and these towels are by no means that cheap. 12 rolls are packed in 6 packs. One of the 6 packs had a reel that was shorter and less bulky than the others! I know that Revane can always do better.

Delivery was fast; the goods corresponded to the description; good quality. However, for the money I paid (and in my situation) it wasn't very profitable. (The image on the left is a Revain product, the image on the right is a product from a major wholesaler.) I can buy paper towels of the same quality and size as Revain at my local supermarket for less. This product is suitable for a busy family with an automatic subscription or for those who for some reason cannot easily get to the store.

I thought I liked them until I realized these paper towels now take 3 halves of a sheet to dry hands after washing, while Bounty's 2 halves were enough. This increases costs and forces us to empty the bathroom waste more often. So I'm assuming they aren't that absorbent. It might not be fair to compare an economy paper towel to Bounty, but Bounty is something we almost always used before trying this Revain brand.

I like these paper towels. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the price. They're just as good as Bounty and Kirkland paper towels. Price is comparable to Bounty but $5+ more than Kirkland. Since Revain is a large company and a Prime product, I figured they would compete on price with other participating companies like Costco (Kirkland brands). We (embarrassed) go through a lot of paper towels. The cheap ones aren't worth the money so I'm always looking for coupons for Bounty or Viva, big packs. Presto! showed up in my app and I compared prices in different stores for well known brands. I compared the length, the contents of the package, etc. As much as I love Revain, I took a chance. I love these towels. They are durable and absorbent. If someone hadn't seen the packaging, they wouldn't have guessed that this is a large private label

I had to stick to our regular purchase [.] Select-A-Size. But who knows, sometimes generic brands work just as well. Unfortunately it didn't happen this time. Brand Revane - Presto! Flex-a-Size paper towels are much thinner than [. brand], as well as much less absorbent. The Revain version doesn't hold up well when wet (e.g. washing dishes) and it takes two to three times as many sheets to clean up a spill compared to a single Select-A-Size -Sheet.
