Easy to install but the water quality is not very high compared to other reverse osmosis systems

It was very easy to install and much easier to change the filter, but the water quality from this reverse osmosis system is half that of my old reverse osmosis system. When I tested it, hard water was 30ppm while my old one wasn't even 1ppm. The recommended hardness for drinking water is 50 ppm or less, and depending on where you live, tap water here in Los Angeles is around 300 ppm.

Works well - kitchen and bathroom plumbing

The unit works great, reducing the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in my well water from 500ppm to 30 TDS. Installation was easy, but for my situation I installed the unit in my basement and ran a line all the way to my fridge. The pressure tank has arrived in the air chamber with too much pressure, this is easily solved by releasing air through the "bike" air valve on the front of the tank. Then the flow out of the fridge was pretty slow, so I added a pressure pump as well.

Only worked a few months

Purchased in December 2020. A plumber fitted it and it worked very well. After 4 months the faucet started leaking. Terrible technical support from abroad could not solve the problem. They sent a replacement under warranty. The plumber put it back in for me and after 2 months the water is flowing out of the tap again. If this happened during our vacation it would definitely ruin our hardwood floors! I do not recommend.

Penny-picking in all its glory

So I was able to take it out of the box long enough to find that the blue faucet cord was too short to reach my mounting location. Now I have to figure out if I want to pay for a few hookups (and wait even longer) or try to stuff the block in a spot I don't want. Anyway, I'm not impressed. I'm even less impressed that the price is down 5% since I bought it about a week ago. Seemingly clean concept, easy to change filters. seemed like a good idea, but it's not. Now I'm still without reverse…
