This office chair is comfortable and won't hurt your back, but two of the eight points that attach the armrests to the backrest weren't properly drilled and the screws weren't threaded. It's not about stress. Attempting to drive screws into these holes while the part was unattached and free of twists or obstructions was impossible. I could see damaged threads. Luckily, the screws are partially blocked and the bad holes are on opposite sides, keeping the chair together. So right.

I bought this chair because I was starting to work full time from home and needed a more comfortable chair that still offered decent support. I paid about $80 for this chair and it's not bad for the price. I chose this option because it doesn't use faux leather, which wears out after a few months. Still great after a few weeks. Build quality is as expected but better at the same time. Looks great in the picture but after a week there is almost no depreciation for the homeless and almost like sitting on a board. The armrests are the same. The material is very soft if you don't want to cling to a leather chair in the summer, but you definitely need a butt pad if you have to sit on the thing for a while (if you work on the computer at home all day, for example).
