Ideal for medium duty applications

Rugged analogue dial with highlighted positions for the most common household tasks, which in my office means checking lots of batteries. Couldn't be happier and it's already seen a lot of use.

Pros
  • Included components: test leads, 9v battery, instruction manual
Cons
  • Functionality

Decimal point does not show at 2000mV setting

Excellent meter except for the decimal point which does not show at 2000mV setting. I've heard about this from other users, so it seems to be a product issue. not my specific meter.

Pros
  • Backlit LCD with reading hold function
Cons
  • High price

Sturdy well built counter

This counter is impressive straight out of the box! It is very well made and of high quality. It's even UL certified for safety rating. It feels solid and the display is sharp. Great buy, especially for the cheap price. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Counts up to 2000
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Reliable - Efficient for the price

This was a good efficient reader for our home. All the basic settings needed for some electrical work around the house, e.g. B. installing a dishwasher, changing sockets. I can't speak to its use for a commercial electrician's installation.

Pros
  • Includes 600VAC/DC, 10 ADC, manual ranging and data storage
Cons
  • Some cons

Efficient, well built, inexpensive.

I have 35 years of multimeter experience as an electronics technician, calibration technician, aerospace instrument technician and general handyman repairing equipment at home. We know when the $400 Fluke 87 is needed and when a cheaper DMM is the way to go. This is amazing value for a DMM under $20. A range of 10 amps is a very BIG plus for a meter at such a low price. The battery test that actually charges the battery under test is a great feature. It's a very good balance of features and a…

Compact size without sacrificing display

The multimeter worked as expected. I couldn't compare the accuracy to my much more expensive Fluke test tool, but for typical home inspections this tool is more than adequate. I particularly like the compact size (roughly the size of a mobile phone) without sacrificing screen size. I can throw this in my tool box without taking up much space. There are no reading problems even at a distance, especially when the backlight is on. The only downside I would mention is that the probe's pins are…

Pros
  • Measurement functions: AC/DCV, DCA, diode/continuity test and resistance/battery test
Cons
  • A few minor things
