We use our grater for hard cheese when we need to grate it, as well as other hard foods that need grating. It is durable and easy to clean

Everything is as it should be. It's sharp, well made, small for storage and not showing in the picture, but the black bar on either end rests on the bottom of the bowl for a big task.

I've had other similar graters and they were much easier to use. Smaller blades feel duller and are really hard to grate. You name it, cheese, zest, ginger, they're hard to grate. It's a shame because I bought two and I don't like them at all.

It was great while in a professional restaurant kitchen it took maybe 2 weeks. After that, the front panel with holes for the Microplan grille detached from the frame, rendering it unusable. The bezel is held to the frame with some solder and is not properly attached at all. Don't expect this item to last in all conditions except for very light, occasional use. Unfortunately, the returns window closed before I could write this review and request a refund. Given a second chance, could you pay me
