Suitable for single use on suspension tools

I managed to lock the coil springs on 2 posts, biting off the threaded nut inside and left me unable to use further compression. Worked once and that's it.

  • Quick change
Cons
  • No automatic

One of the two instruments was built without a safety catch.

One of the two tools was made without a safety clip and locking screw. Cannot be used due to insecure tool. Returned item for gift card credit. Boo, give me my credit card back, please.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

First class customer service!

Broke on first use. But I didn't have to use them before the return window closed. However, customer service still honored the purchase and immediately worked with me to fix everything. I was impressed and completely satisfied.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Not the best

Easy to use while the springs are still in the car.

Excellent, the screw got caught on the top hook so it fell off when tightening. Works much better with springs still installed than with springs that have the screw coming out from the top. It's definitely worth the extra money just for the ease of use.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Slightly snapped

Good value for a DIY job and works great with 2015 Tahoe coils.

Excellent price, more reliable than rented parts in store. Surprised how easy it was to compress the springs on the A-pillars of a 2004 Ford Explorer. The next project will take place at Tahoe 2015. Replaced the stays with a 2015 Tahoe over the weekend. The coil spring compressor worked great. The Tahoe has no problems with the coils. Easy to use and seemed very safe compared to the loaner tools available at the parts store. It's worth the money and time to rent a tool and return it. I would…
