👨 African Mannequin Head: 100% Human Hair, Curly Style, with Stand - Perfect for Display, Practice, Braiding, Styling, and Training Review

The hair texture is very similar to mine and I am African. I think this is the perfect hair texture for African Americans. I plan to use this to learn how to do braids and colors. It's so thick and full. The photos were taken just after his arrival from Revain. I combed it and parted it as you can see. It may take a little patience to comb everything carefully without shedding. I think this hair needs the same care as natural curly hair. I will definitely recommend it!

Made to last. My 12-year-old daughter is learning braiding. It was dyed a super dark manic color which is normal but they showed product with a lighter skin tone. Overall, she can part and braid her hair, so we're happy with that.

Like! Not bad for practice! It looked weird out of the box, but after 2 rinses it came out like the last photo and air dried the same way. In the 3rd and last photo, the group of hairs in the comb is from the 1st rinse. On the second rinse, there was almost no hair left on the larger comb and the small purple toothed comb from the 2nd to the last photo. I used rose essential oil to help with the scent and it worked. Generally satisfied!

I am not entirely satisfied with this product but I think I got what I paid for. There was a lot of hair loss which the seller said was only supposed to happen with the first wash. I haven't washed yet. Delivered quickly but the smell is strong, it was impossible not to notice. The model I received is darker than the product description. I mention this because there can be a difference in the texture of the hair. I couldn't get a straight back on the model I have. I bought it to practice…

I ordered this manakin to practice and learn more about coloring, styling and cutting African American hair. I wish my cosmetology school offered courses using these mannequin heads! She arrived neatly packaged with her hair wrapped in a net, she looked very neat and not a mess! The clamp works great! It really sticks to my table and hasn't come loose yet which has impressed me because I apply more tension to this mannequin than others and its clamp is my new favorite! They all look the same…

As in the pictures 😊. However, the skin tone is slightly darker. The hair is beautiful and soft. Almost no tangle. I shampooed my hair and used a deep conditioner because it had a smell I didn't like (it smells old) and I wanted it to be nice and fresh when I started working on it. The curl after washing is so beautiful. Look at the photo: before, during and after washing.

Loved it got such great reviews! Maybe I just got duds/expectations too high. The hair is quite thin, I would say 3b. It's smooth and soft. The first wash had a lot of brown in the water (mud? hair dye? not sure) and nits (all dead). The hair continues to fall out, and there's even a spot or two where a multicolored thread (presumably to sew the hair into the plastic) has come out and mixed with the hair. The smell is present even after multiple washes. Generally not bad, but not of the caliber

It felt like a laundry day would dissolve it so of course I was annoyed. What makes this mannequin PERFECT! I love her! The curl pattern appears to be around 3b-4a/b and is quite odd and confusing so have your shampoo and conditioner ready. I would definitely apply a deep conditioner after the first wash. It's EXACTLY like my hair so I'm happy to practice some new protective styles without stressing my hair while trying to grow it out.

Love this attachment I had one with straight hair but wanted to practice with different textures so I bought this one! Definitely recommend. It is so curly, soft, elastic and easy to detangle. I wish I had hair like that lol 💕
