Not up to the standard

After trying this coupling, I was left disappointed. It was difficult to install and didn't fit properly, leading to leaks.

Purchased this item directly from American Standard and found the large pad was too large. It is supposed to fit snugly on the large nipple with seal, but this one falls off. Too much padding. Be careful when purchasing and possibly double check part numbers. I have this number right on the inside of the envelope. There was a list of part numbers for the toilet model.

Fit perfectly as expected, OEM

Exactly as described, OEM parts. In our case the toilet was installed about 5 or 6 years ago. We had several inches of flooding and had to redo our house. I removed the toilet and saved it to put back in later. I chose to replace the bolts and gaskets between the cistern and cup as they are (generally) quite inexpensive and installing a toilet with the cistern removed is much easier. There is no need to risk a leak in a newly renovated home by trying to reuse rubber parts that have undergone…
