It has some weight and is not made out of flimsy plastic. Keeps the connection good. Would recommend to anyone connecting a monitor to a USB-C compatible laptop like my MacBook Pro (2017 model).

Samsung 8edge+ and this cable are a perfect match so I can enjoy my phone on my 55 inch TV. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. Price It's worth it.

In good condition the cable has lived about 6 months. Easily connects to MacBook Pro. As long as your computer is connected to the network, you can close the laptop and use only the monitor you're connecting to, or leave it open and use split screen.

From time to time I like to connect my laptop to a large TV or projector. Since my HP Spectra laptop does not have an HDMI port, I use this adapter. Just plug it in and connect your TV or projector and everything just works.

I had to turn my phone and TV on and off multiple times to get the signal to work. Once we got it working it worked great, but every time we used it we had to play with the phone connection. Same issue I read about in a previous review, the phone connection didn't feel like a snug fit, if you moved the device you would lose signal which is impossible with an S8 phone when scrolling through information. After about three weeks and maybe seven uses, it finally stopped working. (No signal input)…

Update 1: After initially considering receiving a faulty and broken product, Rachel from Amiroko Customer Service immediately contacted me via email and offered me a refund/replacement option on. I decided to get a replacement because I wanted to use this cable and Amiroko sent me a replacement right away at no additional cost.
