AMP 20 03289 94 Step Motor Kit Review

The engine runs, but the gears are made of plastic. My old motor gears last 10 years but if you make iron gears they last 30 years.

The new motor sounds like it is difficult to lift the footrest. It is slower than the original engine and slower than the engine on the other side. The board has been lubricated and leveled and runs effortlessly when the motor is not connected. I guess I'll have to wait and see if it holds up.

I was lifting AMP Research Power Boards on my 2016 4" Jeep Wrangler and the motor failed causing the boards to get stuck in the 'UP' position making getting in and out of the Jeep was difficult.problem until I found this replacement.Item came quicker than expected,fit perfectly and solved my problem.I would highly recommend this part and this supplier.

I bought to replace my original motor which failed due to carelessness (the installer told me it was maintenance free which is NOT true). This motor fits perfectly and needs no adjustment. It also sounds GREAT and breaks in the skids great. Will definitely do an update on how long this new engine will last now that I know how to properly maintain it to save the engine.
