Good product, crappy instructions

I thought this step needed a new review. The product itself is ok - installation was a little tedious, but not as difficult as others thought. .Whatever screw problem AMP had, it looks like it has been solved. I didn't have to drill a bigger hole or buy an extra screw. But the instructions are terrible. They need better photos or diagrams. And AMP post how to install video dated after 2012! Poor quality - body and finish

I originally bought a Mopar OEM stage after it was advertised as suitable for dual exhaust but unfortunately it didn't fit as an exhaust path. Seems like AMP is the only alternative right now. However, I had the unique opportunity to explore OEM and AMP side by side. The booster uses multiple parts for the main bracket that they bolt together, the OEM is a strong and much more durable part. Quality aside, I found many issues with the AMP bumper step. Poor fit and requires significant assembly effort

UPDATE: After compressing the bumper and securing it with locking pliers, I finally have the clearance I needed to thread the nuts back onto the bumper studs and complete the installation. Now everything seems to be ok. I was trying to install this on my brand new 2019 Bighorn Edition RAM (new style) which is what this step should do.
