Better quality than the original so thicker. Installation will be a little painful, but it's worth it. Remove as much glue from the old one as possible. In general I am satisfied.

The hardest part was getting the Shark Power Head apart. We finally figured it out. The hose just screws on, not easy, but it should be tight. Fixed my vacuum cleaner, just what I needed.

My vacuum cleaner is annoying again! And I couldn't be happier. So, in general, the exchange will not last long. Only 3 stars for easy installation because you have about 10 screws with different bit sizes and it was quite difficult to insert the hose. It was difficult at first to put it on the threads and I had to move counter-clockwise to push it as I did so.

I bought this to replace a broken hose on Shark Rocket. It's the correct diameter and length, but it's meant to be bolted on and the coils are further apart than the other hose and don't bolt on easily. I was able to squeeze it in but I don't think it will last long. Just note that the reels are further apart than the Shark Rocket hose. It might be good for another application.

The diameter is too large to fit the threaded holes on my HV302, even with WD40. Other reviewers commented on the snug fit, but it was much more than snug. Vendor needs to update their listing and remove HV302 as it has clearly never been tested on their end. Unfortunately, I expected that from manufacturers who have developed a hose that "sort of" fits many different vacuum cleaners.
