AMT 1971 Plymouth Duster Model Review

Although hard to find this is the only thing my husband wanted for Christmas and I found it here. He's so excited to be working on it. It arrived quickly and he was so excited to open it for Christmas.

This model needs to be completed in stages without haste. Trust me you will enjoy the wait. It may take 3-5 days to assemble and paint according to the instructions, but you won't regret it. She is a consummate beauty.

This kit turned out to be much better than usual for AMT. I especially like the padded tires. The rear decals are tricky, but they are of decent quality just because of the design of the car. I love that it has air conditioning, I don't think I've ever seen it in a 1/24 scale model.

Really very good model. Has multiple options such as hood scoops (or not), engine configuration, white or black decals and a rear fender. The vast majority of parts were clean, with a light coating. Not much chrome. There were problems adjusting the body according to the level, but managed to work around it. Warning: The back stickers are extremely fragile, with a thin line in one of the areas that could easily tear.
