This does NOT apply to Quest 2. Warning.

This is 100% NOT FIT with Quest 2 Quest 1 and Rift have a removable lens cap which you must remove before installing this lens protector, Quest 2 does not have a lens cap which must be removed and therefore this lens protection is not suitable. The plastic protector is too small to attach to the Quest 2 lens. Note to manufacturer: Please amend the description as it is completely wrong and I wasted my time and money ordering it. I will come back for a refund.

Preventive measures

Did this because although my husband and I don't wear glasses, we noticed small scratches after we let one of my friends try on our Oculus Quest and didn't notice that her glasses made contact would come with lenses. Installation was very easy (see video). I took out the original hard eyecups and then put the black silicon/rubber pads onto the included eyecups. I love how much thicker the eyeliner is! I don't think we're going to worry too much about friends. It's a very easy and cheap way to…

Well I'm looking forward to it!

This is my fastest Revain review. I usually wait until I have time to test the product or I'm just too lazy to do it. I'm so impressed with it that I'm going to check it out now. First, it *matches* the Oculus Quest 2, as shown in the attached photos. I'm also happy to say that it was fairly easy to attach. I simply replaced the red and blue protective film (my choice) with a black frame labeled AMVR II on the front facing me (that's the width I used), attached the protective films to the Quest

You are coming to Quest 2!

They fit the Quest 2. (I'll post a photo soon) Whoever said they don't fit didn't take the time to properly align the lens caps when they were installed. Honestly if you think you need the right instructions for this (I think they give a lot of instructions on the box) then you lack common sense. Take your time and properly attach the rubber insert to the supplied lens caps. Then attach them to the Quest 2's lens. It's very easy, but it took me a few minutes longer than I expected to get the…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some minor things

I bought the Quest 2 last week and as this new headset is slimmer and smaller than the original, using glasses might be a little more problematic. I decided to try AMVR protective glasses and was happy with the results. The kit contains 2 plastic rings and several silicone pads in different thicknesses and colors. I chose the 7mm caps as they were the thickest. Wrapping the lids around the rings was easy as you simply lined up the tabs on the rings with the corresponding holes in the lids. Then

Works depending on your glasses

I have an Oculus Quest 2 and these frames fit this system. The plastic parts will attach correctly, just make sure you have the correct side on the correct lens. I have three glasses that I wanted to try on with these "protectors" (see photo) and here is what I got. Found: I have pretty poor eyesight, which is different in each eye, which is why one lens in my glasses is thicker than the other. Even my thickest lens still doesn't touch the Oculus lens if I have the right mounts. Full frame…

Get these if you wear glasses.

This is a real find if you have horrible eyes. I thought I could do VR without glasses; that the proximity of the lenses in the Oculus Rift S trick my eyes into thinking they're not terrible. nope; It seems that my brain still interprets the virtual distance as real and applies the depth of field of my real eyes (kinda totally distorted) to the virtual landmarks I see through the lenses. What I see is the fact that the standard Rift S pads are too thin to fit on my glasses. (And I think most…
