Difficult to find the right size. I had to buy 3 sizes and still not quite right. It either fits on top but is too short, or loose at the top and too long. Otherwise a beautiful dress.

Sweet simple little black dress. My 12 year old daughter who is very petite and skinny cannot wear baby sizes like all her friends. She was a size 10 and fit perfectly. She wore it to 7th grade dances with a long necklace and maroon hats! Super sweet!

I really like this dress, I bought it for my daughter for a school concert. Great quality and design, it's a bit short so you'll need to go up a size to get the right fit. First I got a size 10 for my 9 year old then I had to return it and got a size 12 which is much better.

Beautiful dress but short! In general, the size came up - my daughter is 14 years old, and we took the 14th size. We also bought size 16 thinking the length would be better but it turned out to be too roomy. We have sent this back and are returning a size 14 due to the short length.

Nice dress. Fits as expected. A bit expensive for this quality. Probably just put one or two on and wash and it will fade or stretch. But overall happy.

This dress suits my daughter incredibly well. The horizontal ribs just give it a slight subtle interest. She says it's very comfortable and she likes that it stretches a little. The fabric is good quality and I love it so much that I plan to look for another one in a different color! Couldn't be happier

Simple cute dress but runs small. My daughter is 10 years old - tall and thin. Ordered a size 16 which fits great apart from being a bit short but not out of place. Be sure to order a few sizes larger than your usual size.

My daughter is a solid size 12 in most things. This dress is incredibly small. This size 12 looks like a size 8 to me. Quality is normal, stretch is good but very very short. I kept it next to another size 12 dress that is above the knee and at least 3 inches shorter.

My daughter size 14 can wear zero. She is very tall and very skinny, 5'3 93lbs. I chose size 16 BC. for her size and it fits perfectly. I used the measurements given, which is why I say this is true size. i would order again
