This is an accurate and reliable scale. It arrived pre-calibrated, which I've confirmed myself using calibration weights and a fairly well-known precision scale that I also own. I have to say that this was an expensive scale and we use the scale every day for our work. I took a risk as the range from 20kg to 0.1g was VERY wide and I thought it might not be too accurate. I got it and of course it was off giving me weird readings. I contacted the seller and to my surprise and delight they really cared about what they are selling. I use it for baking at home. Before that I used a 5kg scale (accurate to 1g) for larger items like flour or sugar and a smaller 2kg scale (accurate to 0.1g) to measure things like yeast or leaven.
