False advertising on Kitchen & Dining

First, it was the wrong anchor. It was the fiery king that dropped anchor. Not a big deal, but definitely falsely advertised (I bought the anchor, not a subset of the anchor). Second, mine came chipped and I went back.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Not the best

Can't read standard size when holding it with right hand

Looks sturdy but is a bit heavy. Also, I can't read US standard measurements when holding it with my right hand. If you are left handed or use the metric system this will work for you. For me this is very impractical.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Some small things

Well done! suitable for measuring devices and scales

This is a replacement for the previous measuring cup from the same company. This is just as good if you want to measure a lot of liquid. The markings don't go very deep, so if you want anything under 1/2 cup you'll have to guess the size by looking. There's still plenty of room at the bottom where line markers could fit and it's a shame they're not there. But for large sizes it works very well!

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Product does NOT match the listing

When I received this measuring cup, it did not look like the picture. It was squat and had no markings to suggest it was an Anker measuring cup. I returned a replacement mug thinking it was a mistake and received the same mug a second time. I've requested a refund as it doesn't look like an Anchor Hocking Cup. If this is in fact an Anchor Hocking measuring cup, the listing needs to be updated to state that it is not trademarked and shows the true image of the cup.

Pros
  • understandable also for old
Cons
  • possibility of exchange

Reliable measuring cup with serious quality problems.

Arrived quickly and appears to be a good cup. There's a bit of roughness under the handle, right where I put my finger when pouring. It really needs to be ironed out and I'm surprised it passed quality control. It's still a good item but not of the expected quality. Update - I'm just starting to use it as a measuring cup, not just a small mixing bowl, and was wondering why the liquid isn't pouring straight out, it's just running down the side of the cup, because the spout doesn't have any spout

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • No

Wrong product picture shown, #1/3 measurement - 6/26/2021

Measuring cups from Anchor Hocking are amazing, they pour better than pyrex, last like iron and color fades for decades - 5+ stars for me product. However, the photo shows a different measuring cup with all sizes on it: 1/4 cup and 1/3 cup, as well as ounces and milliliters. The actual 2-cup serving sold by AH (P/N #FBA_55177OL11) doesn't have 1/3 cup increments as shown in the photo because apparently someone at AH doesn't cook, at least not the ones labeled as such by the seller is that I…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great price
