Really great storage containers! They are made of clear glass and are very durable. They can be frozen or put in the oven which I love. There are never too many of these - they have become indispensable in my kitchen!

I trust the USA-made anchor for safe food storage. They fit perfectly and are easy to clean in the dishwasher. Note - others put them in the oven and it was a bad idea. This is glassware for food storage. Not heat-resistant casserole dish.

Pros: The jar is thick enough to fall off Easy to clean, especially the lid (I found some plastic lids have a lot of cracks, this one doesn't) Perfect size for leftovers, I use mine for cooking . It's perfect for snacks! The cons lid cap is not airtight, if you turn it upside down it will leak as it is a liquid.

I buy more of these every year not because they break but because I just need more. Every year I notice that the jar is getting thinner and the lids are much thinner. The lids on these bowls are very thin compared to a year or two ago. The bowls themselves are still pretty good, but unfortunately their benefit comes from the lids. Pyrex has the same problem. Overall I would recommend them but it is sad to see a great product getting worse every year.

I bought this set to add to Anchor Hocking residue bins. I was expecting to get the same very high quality lids as the last time I bought this product.
