very easy to install!

We bought this house in September and have had a problem with the sliding door lock ever since. We got our hands on a real pen! We could still lock the door, but it took a lot of effort. We tried to find the name of the manufacturer of the door and couldn't find a way I could get a replacement lock for it. I went to Revain, looked at "Sliding Door Locks" and scrolled through the pictures and then I saw a lock that looked just like the one we had! Luckily he was available. It arrived in 2 days…

fits like a glove. into my double sliding door to 83

purchased part from South Shore Flooring, $9.99 and free shipping, arrived in 5 days. the problem is, the only difference is the shape from the original and a slightly longer screw thread, but not the screw itself. we'll go with that. If you need help identifying your door, please copy the Andersen sliding door serial…

The door itself sucks too. The edge sags, it's drafty, mold wants to grow on the inside edge of the wood where it can't reach (I spray vinegar on it from the crevice to keep it at bay), and it often…

Andersen FIXIED 15 Year Old Sliding Glass Door

This thumb latch fell apart while locking the door one night. As it was a 15 year old door we had trouble finding a replacement. We called local facilities listed on Andersen's website (also listed as privately owned and Home Depot). Home Depot was unhelpful, we looked online and even called the store to speak to a clerk who didn't know. Then we called a private company 25 miles away; The guy was helpful and said to take a picture and email him which part we need. He thought he knew exactly…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
