I've tried several other bike phone mounts but the silicone straps (DeltaX Pro Mount) kept breaking no matter how careful and delicate I was because the iPhone 11 Pro Max (like the iPhone 12) is clearly too big for their strap. There seems to be a common problem with this type of mount where the clamp's "connecting ball" hits the clamp. After about 3 months of use (almost every day) the link ball broke causing the phone to fall on the trail. The phone mount and phone case we used protected the phone, so the phone would not be damaged. Aside from that "weak spot" the rest of the mount looks really well built.
