Suitable for rowing and sailing

My second is a remote control, which makes it more convenient to use. It has an automatic deployment that stops when it hits the ground. The first didn't work, but this one does.

Pros
  • trial period of one year
Cons
  • unreliable

Good workmanship: Boating

I originally ordered from a competitor but the case was broken on arrival so I sent it back and ordered this one. He's a little touchy when it comes to getting himself outside, but when you add the weight they're talking about, he's gone.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Only available in black

Concerned about durability

Works very well lowering and raising my 25 lb mushroom anchor until I hit weeds at the anchor. It appeared, but stopped and started many, many times. The hardware is very cheap. I hope for the best.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Quality

Excellent shipping and product as expected

Considering the 2 week delivery time but it was sourced from IPC and they delivered in just a few days! The product is as advertised and I'm well made and good looking. I need to do a few things to get it installed on my boat but expect it to work fine.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons

Relieves back pain

This winch is installed on my 18ft express and works great. I fish for catfish which means I move quite a bit and it's definitely better than manually hoisting a 20lb anchor every time. Don't like the remote control - great idea but it just causes problems. I installed a wired switch and plugged it into the back of the boat - works great.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • No power

Does not withstand the recommended weight

During the movement through the water, the anchor fell by itself and had to press the button up several times. This is rated for a 25lb anchor, but I only had a 10lb anchor. When fly fishing I move from place to place and don't want to be distracted by a winch I can't rely on. Actually, I would like to give "0" stars for overall satisfaction.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions

Not enough power. For sports

The device works well until you screw it on (I'd say that's the main reason anyone needs an electronic anchor). The details list a maximum capacity of 25lbs, but 20lbs is recommended (strange). I set the anchor at 18 pounds. He attempted to pull 18 pounds to the surface and then stopped. The anchor had to be inserted manually into the cradle the rest of the way. Instead of taking this unit off, returning it and praying a replacement can handle 18lbs, I'll buy a 12lb anchor to see if this unit…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

A piece of JUNK line slips off the reel and gets tangled

If you buy one of these lines you must first tighten all the outside small screws as they will loosen and get lost. Second, take a tool kit so you can remove the cover and unwind the rope that jumps off the spool and gets tangled. If you loosen the line, it will jump off the reel! Having used this anchor system for 2 weeks and having to repair it several times at the lake, it's not worth the box it came in. It has serious design flaws and is a piece of junk that will literally fall apart if you

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
