Much more than a blender. Worth every penny!

I love this blender. I've used Kitchen Aid for most of my adult life and it has worked, but this blender is a joy to use. I don't have all of the attachments so can't comment on how well they work, but I have a rolling pin and it works really well. What I like best is that thanks to the shape of the bowl and the mechanics of the "mixer", the ingredients stay in the bowl. even at high speeds. No need for lids or chutes to prevent ingredients from flying around. And cleaning up is a joy. One…

Profitable investment

I love. This. Mixer. I grind flour myself to make homemade bread, and in recent years I've been using another popular food processor. After changing the worm gear (freshly ground whole wheat flour makes a heavy batter) and about to do it again, I saved up for an Ankarsrum 6230. I was able to bake 2-2.25 pound loaves of bread in my last mixer. , but I can easily bake 4- to 2.25-pound loaves with Ankarsrum when the mixer is barely warm to the touch. This halves the time I spend in the kitchen…

  • Something is wrong

I bought this after MUCH in-depth research - or thought it was deep. The car is REALLY BEAUTIFUL - pleasant to the touch and pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately, it doesn't do the main job I bought it for very well. He doesn't make a 5 pound sack of flour dough for bread without spilling it and getting his hand on the dough. I tried both reel and hook. It almost works with a combination of both. At this point I can only do it manually. I would keep it EXCEPT even with this low power. Wait. I…

The quality is worth every penny

First of all it looks like it should be displayed in an art museum. The white finish has a very fine sand structure with a subtle sheen. On my first day with him, I baked 13-inch Sally Lunn bread, two loaves of cinnamon raisin yeast bread, and a large batch of Bakewell Cream cookies with sausage sauce. . It formed quietly and efficiently in all of the above cases with no sign of tension. I used a roller and bread scraper and single wire cookie beater to make the cookies. Everything turned out…

High performance universal household mixer.

My Kenwood died after 25 years. Dealer cannot find parts. So I started looking for a new blender. I used my mother's (20 year old) 6 liter Pro Kitchenaid to bake bread. A bit stuck in the hard test. Still not bad. However, recent reviews have not impressed. While searching I came across Ankarsrum. The reviews I checked on several websites were good but didn't tell me what I needed to know. Like what did they use it for other than bread. I watched their videos and was impressed. So it has the…

THE BEST HOME MIXER

Firstly, DO NOT buy this mixer until you watch a YouTube video of how to use it. One reviewer dumped the machine because the bread maker doesn't mix butter and sugar — and it never will because it can't be used that way. There are attachments for this. Other reviewers point out that there is a learning curve when using Ankarsrum - this curve is easily overcome by simply watching the same tutorial videos. (For the best bread baking video go to: https://youtu.be/5tvEz4Ko8pQ) For making bread…
