a piece of shit in Computers and Accessories

Terrible. There's something wrong with that. Won't let you turn off your computer. It just restarts. Do not buy from this seller

Antec SL 350 350W 12V ATX Power Supply

This product meets my needs exactly. My computer bit the dust due to a power outage. I was looking for a suitable replacement and here it is.

Is the PSU dead or not?

There was a smell of burning electricity in the packaging, but the part looked new and not reconditioned. Testing different output voltages was very accurate. Clever understands perfectly. My computer screen was black on startup and I assumed the PSU was dead. Not so! (The exhaust fan used to generate a lot of heat, too.) I unplugged the various wire connectors, stuck a paperclip bridge between the green and black wires, and everything was fine. Apparently my 2003 Gateway motherboard is dead. ;

Pros
  • Internal power supplies
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
