It's Antec, it works.

The previous PSU was thermal, a big mistake as it only lasted a few months. Due to problems in the power supply supply chain, this was the only choice at the time. So if you look at the shape of the little plugs on the connector on this device for an 8-pin processor, don't. Some of them look different but I assure you they fit. Just make sure you don't put the PCI-E connector in there. The one for the processor is unlabeled and numbered 4 + 4. However, old school computer repair people like me…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Reliability

Antec 750 PSU -- perfect

It arrived a little earlier than expected but that's not a complaint. I'm just saying. I love Antec products but don't see them anymore. Was glad to see it was available. It is installed exactly as the power supplies should be. It runs on an Asus motherboard with a quad-core processor, an Nvidia 750 graphics card and eight gigabytes of DDR3 memory. Windows 10. Not the most powerful, but it gives the power needed to keep the person I ordered it for happy.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some bugs

Antec to the rescue

I recently assembled a new PC. My old AMD PC used an Antec Earthwatts 500w PSU and it's still working after 9+ years so I went with Antec. I did a little research and decided to prefer it to EVGA or Corsair. Corsair isn't bad either, but I wanted to focus on something that works. My Corsair is still working great after over 5 years. A few years ago my PSU blew up my motherboard and I sent the PSU back for a refund. They didn't hesitate to send me another PSU with better quality, so I chose this

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
