I'm a nurse working on the Covid-19 floor. I needed a product that would prevent prescription glasses from fogging up under a pair of goggles and a face shield. I applied 1 coat and it didn't work very well. (I tested them with goggles and a face shield). The directions say to apply a second (and possibly a third) coat to get the full effect. Basically to reduce fogging on my lenses when wearing face masks. The trick is rubbing your finger over it, letting the film dry and then wiping it down with the cloth that comes with it, and that's the really tricky part. Swipe too much and it won't work, don't wipe enough and everything will be blurry. The problem is that even if everything is perfect I have a few hours before my glasses fog up again. Works well enough. I bought it to wear a mask while shopping and the glasses don't fog up from breathing. This is not a fog-free solution; I'm still groggy with every breath, but it's dissipating fast enough to see. It's like fog/no fog/fog per second, which is annoying when trying to walk but definitely better than constant fog. I can't wear a mask without putting this thing over my glasses.
