Perfect! I was able to install it myself (I'm 63, an old lady). I didn't even need any tools! I went to You Tube to find out how to install. Don't forget to turn off the water and empty the tank. I have an old toilet and this worked great. Be sure to measure the tank height before ordering. It's quite high.

I replaced the toilet parts with a Home Depot kit that did not use a float (ball). It worked for a while but stopped working after a few weeks. I removed it and replaced it with this kit. I think the float mechanism is easier to install and set up. I am a woman over 70) Still happy with this purchase

My old Mark IV was shorter than this new one which I thought would be a direct replacement. It looked exactly the same except for the color, but to my chagrin it was too big for my aquarium. I couldn't get the lid off. I of course sent it back without question and got a refund. Be sure to measure before buying. Just my 2 cents.

Everything but the damper was "ok" Still difficult to install for the everyday layman. Flap was horrible Too thin, never fits properly. Shifted after a few flushes after readjustment. My water bill tripled before I knew what was going on

I was scared. If I ordered the part correctly, everything I need is there, will it work, can I use it to make it work. it was perfect. The instructions are tiny (be sure to bring a magnifying glass) but they are well written and easy to follow. Everything I needed to get the job done, except for a wrench and a screwdriver, was included in the package. I'm glad I ventured this part.

I had to replace the guts in my townhouse 1/2 tub after the lever and ball broke. I disassembled this kit to replace the necessary parts. It is easy to install the water filling line. Now it works perfectly, there are no leaks in the area of the gasket. Like the other reviewer, I noticed that the arm is 1 inch too long to fit in my toilet tank. I had to cut it off, which isn't critical for me, but it may be for others.

In general, I didn't like it. Water dripped from the top of the valve. A slight adjustment of the valve shut-off float stopped the drip, drip, drip. Then the valve stopped filling the tank after 2 months. He was sucking in air, probably from a crack, which is why it's dripping at the top. Somehow the valve got cracked/damaged during manufacturing or possibly during shipping. The valve was replaced with a locally purchased one. Problem solved. Go on.

It is about 1 1/2 inches larger than my lid to fit. a bit big. The choke and the external handle/lever for the choke also didn't work on my tank. My fuel filler flap has small brackets that fit over hooks on the overflow pipe. The handle/lever actually fits in the tank but doesn't pull hard enough, loose and annoying. All in all it seemed to work. The device no longer works all the time, so at least there are improvements. To be honest, I don't mind leaving the lid open so people in the house…
