Variety of colors is the best in stick waxing

The colors available in this collection suit my needs. Through the combination of my wax seals and the variety of colors, I can symbolically refer to many literary references. Some waxes have a kind of metallic sheen and really add to the aesthetic of my handwritten letters. (My significant other loves the look and doesn't want to break the seal.) Using it is simple enough: light a candle, use melted wax to seal. Overall it met my expectations, wish they had the option to order more than one…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Functionality

Great price and wide range of colours. Don't expect professional quality sealing wax. It's good, but it's not a traditional wax. As long as you know what you're getting, it's perfect. It cools quickly, so getting a nice molten wick pool can be difficult. I suggest slicing and using a spoon or heating over a candle or using a small lighter. Then you get bigger pools and don't have to worry about them going cold before you get enough water to install the seal. Enjoy. The price is so affordable…

Pros
  • Sticky wax paste

Pretty, full-size, multi-colored crayons

When I ordered these kits I was afraid they might be tiny, but they aren't. These are life size wax sticks! There are lots of flowers and I also bought some stamps as well as stationery and a nice pen. You can use wax on any letter, it makes it so special, especially in this day and age when people don't even use post. stamped on it to give you a swirly look. I hope this helps you decide what to get for sealing wax, they are large and you get many colors. If you've never used it, all you do is…

The wick burns too fast

I am new to wax printing and wanted to personalize my letters to my pen pal. I wish I had done more research on casting methods; You can either melt the wax chunks in a spoon and pour them out from there, or drip straight from the wax stick like this one. I'm not sure if this is user error or not, but I'm having a very hard time getting the wax to melt. I tried rotating the stick, melting at different angles, nothing helps. I'll leave a coin-sized puddle on the side, and then the flame will go…
